Iqor..?

Hi Guys,

As your all so helpful, thought i'd ask further.

Im being chased 2/3 a DAY on my work direct line about a paypal debt of £580 from a company called Iqor? I know i have this debt and I am working with Paypal to reduce it, so im not sure why its been passed to Iqor or what i should do? They call me 2/3 times a day despite me asking them not to ring my work direct line as i could get in trouble, also the calls are recorded so i dont want management listening in to personal details.

Can anyone advise me on what to do? Can i just ignore Iqor and continue with paypal to organise getting my debt repaid? How can i get them to stop calling me!

Thanks :) xxxx

    Hi

Have they written to you at all yet (at home)?
There is a letter you can send to require all future communication to be in writing and to stop all phone calls. Or you can ask them to remove just specific numbers (ie your work number) from their database (under the data protection act).

Speak to Paypal. They are classed as a bank in the EU and therefore have to abide by the same rules as does everyone else. If this lot of debt collectors are chasing you daily, speak to Paypal and ask them why since it sounds like you already have a satisfactory arrangement with them. Check that nothing has changed and this is not something new that you were previously unaware of. Tell the debt collectors to write to you and that you will not engage with them any further until they do. Keep an eye on the situation and seek advice from CAB if it looks like it's getting out of hand. It's pretty hard to judge what's going on and therefore advise next steps unless you publish more details such as when you first heard from these people, what did they tell you etc....
