Hello, i had a CCJ in June 2008 wihich has been paid off, it wasn't within 28 days so i understand it will be on my credit report for 6 years!!
However, i just wanted to know if the CCJ auotmatically goes as 'satisfied' ? I've heard the Registry Trust does it automatically when you pay it off but people tell me otherwise.
Any info would be helpful on CCJ's.
Thanks.

You will have to apply to the court for a Satisfaction Letter which costs £10 I believe.
This will then update the Registry Trust and then update your file to Satisfied.
I believe this is the process
