Morgan Stanley letter on totally plain paper??

Hello. We've received a letter that came in an envelope with the Morgan Stanley address on the back, but that is itself printed on totally plain paper that has no company name on it. This could be an administrative !!!!-up, a plain copy meant for a file, but I wonder whether it's some legal thing? We can't be sure it's actually from Morgan Stanley although I know it is, IYSWIM.
Does anyone know anything about this sort of thang?
