Tesco online - BEWARE

Just over a week ago I ordered over £100 worth wine from Tesco online. Several days later Tesco rang to say their computers had crashed and thousands had lost their orders. They told us to reorder again on their website and to e-mail them and we would still get the 20% discount that finished on the day we ordered. They also said they would give us £10 for the inconvenience.
We reordered for delivery a day before a big party we organised. The night of the order the website said our order had been CANCELLED! My wife rushed to Sainsbury's before they closed to buy more wine. the order then turned up! They have refunded some money to my credit card but not 20% of the new order. I have complained 3 times by e-mail to online@tesco.com but I have only had an automated response with the usual excuse saying how busy they are. We are left with a load of wine and still waiting a proper refund. Any suggestions what else I can do that doesn't waste more of my time.

My order showed cancelled but miraculously turned up on the day, minus the 25% offer.
That was November, I am STILL waiting for the 25% refund

i too called tesco in the end, about the same problem. they gave me an EXTRA £10, which arrived in the form of a gift card, and have since emailed me to say they are crediting back the balance to my credit card for the amount by which i was overcharged. in the ned, the thing is, they are crediting me back £10 too much, because they have taken the 2nd voucher into account as well, but i'm not complaining, lol, 12 bottles of argentinian shiraz, and 18 bottles of french for £17
, i'll cope with that. probably cost me a fortune in the bloomin 0845 number anyway.
good luck to everyone else trying to sort theirs out,

After reading this I checked my own order - surprise surprise - 5 out of the 6 cases I ordered have been mysteriously cancelled today - not only that, but they have re-instated the £5 delivery charge which was free on my over £100 order.
Edit: The nice Tescos man just arrived with my full order woo hoo! in spite of the site saying most of it was cancelled...0 -

Try taking the Wine back to your local 'Extra' store - I dealt with a customer a few days ago with the same problem and although we don't usually take back internet wine orders at a Store level if you explain the situation im sure they'll help you and a least give you a refund for the unwanted wineStand Up For What You Believe In, Even If It Means Standing Alone0 -
