Yeah, I'm a businessman now; just put a book up for sale on Amazon. Good points about my sale: it's for a book in mint condition, so I've put it down as "New", which should generate a bit of interest.
Bad points: The book is pretty esoteric: an English translation of a French reference book about Linux programming. Also, the other sellers have ridiculously high ratings, of like 260,000.
So, what're my chances?

Actually pretty good reference books sell quite well apparently see the Amazon thread on the auctioning area of the forum. Also people don't seem to worry about the feedback as much as on ebay I have made four sales so far and no problems!! Just watch the packaging thing ie try not to put the book in a padded envelope as they won't go through the slot in the Royal Mail template thing and will cost you more to post:eek: Every Penny's a prisoner :T0

Sounds good that the feedback isn't such a vital issue. As for posting the thing, it's a tome of a reference; definitely won't go through that 25mm slot, so no worries of it being mistaken for a Small Packet. This thing's definitely going as a parcel.
Might put some more stuff up, actually. I've got a few references here that I've not touched for a long time, it needs to go. Money is better than dead trees and ink!
