Tesco overcharging policy

I have seen several threads about people getting DTD back when they have been overcharged. But where can I find details of this? Is it in their terms and conditions. Because when I was overcharged on an item last night and went in this morning to get my money back the woman at CS point blank refused to give DTD she said we only give the difference. So because I dont know where this overcharge policy is detailed I had to accept what she was saying. So I would appreciate if anyone can direct me towards this information. Thanks.

I had this happen to me last week.... Emailed customer services & got a call back apologising, said store manager would have a complaint notified & that CS trouts/staff would be re trained! also asked if I would be willing to accept a £ 5 gift card as apology:)
Unfortunately I didnt get the Turner rd DTD as they said it was part of a special deal & non applicable, when I said some "friends" had got it, they said that people had been abusing the system & no further discussion would be entered into::(
Just made me more determined to get every penny I can out of them!
