  • havent been on a "free" trip, but went with DFDS from Newcastle to Bergen a while ago...

left Newcastle on Tuesday at 7pm...arrived Bergen Wednesday 10pm...its a 24 hr or so crossing, if the weather is ok.

left Bergen Thursday 11am...and arrived back in Newcastle Friday about 1pm...

only a few hours in Bergen, but 3 nights on board the ship.

    thanks for the reply.

  • there are around 4 restaurants on board, and a couple of cafes.....4 bars, a nightclub, casino...duty free shops. There was also a kids playroom.

Theres plenty to keep grown-ups occupied...but it may be hard going with a 13 month old.

  • We Arent Going Decided It Will Be To Much Once We Had Added On Petrol And Parking To Not See Any Of Norway. Think It Might Be To Late To Hand Tickets Over Though Sorry Or We Would We Only Realised Tonight That We Wouldnt Get To See Norway So Disapointed. Never Mind Though.
