Ive seen some beautiful wooden nutcracker soldiers theyre £5 each 6 inches tall, lovely.
We are really skint this year as i become jobless in 3 weeks.
Our families are aware of this.
Do you think if we got one per family that would be acceptable?
ill wrap them really nicely and print out and laminate the story to go alongside it and for the 3 kiddies in the family i have 3 christmas dvds which cost £2 each.
I will get a couple of extra bits for my inlaws due to the fact they help us out so much.
i dont want to come across as tight and i thought these would be nice for the recipients to keep and treasure and then every year when they take them out they will be reminded of us?
I would really appreciate your input.
I debated hampers but they just work out too expensive even with carboots/freecycle and ebay.
thank you in advance

I think they sound great ,lovely to give something that could be used every year .
A great idea .
Your family will be grateful for anything,at least you are thinking about what to buy and not just getting something they dont or wont use.Earnings £245 in 2014:T thanks to swagbucks0 -
my godmother bought us beautiful nutcrackers one year (many moons ago)

I would simply love these. We say every year that it is not how much our children spend on presents but the thoughts and love behind behind them.0

What a lovely idea, I'd prefer a present like this instead of something that they went into a shop and didn't think about.Cross trainer fund- £21.0
