Murrayfield Parking help please

I am taking a relative to Murrayfield stadium on wednesday as she has tickets to Bon Jovi. I am not a city driver and so rely on my satnav to get there but do not have a clue about parking. We should arrive about 5.30pm and she does not have great mobility. I am starting to worry as a gig being on could mean no parking close by? Any help would be much appreciated as I am starting to panic. I have posted on the motoring section as well. Just in case any one can help x

Parking at Murrayfield isnt great, but the bus service is.

If you can, I'd park at the park & ride at the airport. From there you can get a bus that stops right outside Murrayfield.

While there is on street parking around Murrayfield, it is suspended when a major event is on. Does your relative have a disabled parking permit? Might be worth phoning the stadium to ask them if there is disabled parking. Their number is 0131 346 5000.
