Old Bankruptcy Debt secured on my house

Hi
Desperately need help as I am being chased for an old debt related to a bankruptcy order from over 14 years ago......
Foolishly when i was married I allowed my ex husband to use my name to run a business and after 3/4 years I had to declare bankruptcy. The only creditors were the tax man and there was a small over draught on the bank account, possible about £1,000. The bank were instructed to send this debt of to the trustee.....I also lost my house temporarily as the trustee claimed it as my largest asset.........
About 7 years later I was able to buy my house back of the trustee for around £5,000 and I assumed that this was the end of a messy marriage/business arrangement. However, the RBS have now recently wrote to me, rang me up etc to inform me that I now owe them £4,500 for a loan that I took out with them?? After months of arguing with them that i have never taken out a loan, as a bankruptcy i wouldn't have been aloud too, they now say it is from this previous over drawn account that they didn't send off to the trustee. They have also told me that they have put a charge on my house so need to pay it back asap?
I have never recieved any paperwork to tell me about this, nor will they show me any paperwork that claims there story is true. interest is piling on by the day and at a moment of weakness I asked them if they would just put the overdraught? loan? onto my mortgage to pay if of, but they just refused and said i needed to pay if immediately......
I have spoken to my bank manager who has known me for years and she says I don't owe the money which all though is a little reassuring, it is not helpful in clearing the debt......She has rung up the RBS call centre many times for me but got know where. The trustee in Bankruptcy doesn't exist any more as this all happened quite some time ago........I'm a little stuck as to what to try next.....
I am starting to find the whole situation very scarey and stressful...Any help or suggestions would be very much appreciated.
thanks

Well if it was before your bankruptcy and not secured on your home, it is written off in bankruptcy - whether or not it was registered at the time.Desperately need help as I am being chased for an old debt related to a bankruptcy order from over 14 years ago......
Looks like they are out of time - 6 years for non secured; 12 years for secured debts. Do not acknowledge the debt at this point. They have also told me that they have put a charge on my house so need to pay it back asap?
How did they get this registered without you knowing? Maybe worth downloading your house deeds from land registry to see if what they are claiming is true. Use the official site rather than the clowns who charge you hefty fees. It will cost you £4. Link here:
