Im thinking of getting a paper potter to use with the kids, I've never grown anything before but would like to start growing a few bits once we've moved am I right in that you just plant the seeds in the paper pot instead of a normal pot?0

I've just started using one this year - the pots are quite small, really only suitable for seedlings, but the advantage is that you plant the paper pots straight into the ground so you don't disturb the roots.
They're normally quite expensive, over a tenner, but if you do a search on the gardening forum I think I've seen ideas for using jam jars etc to get the same effect in a more MSE way.
Shame these are now out of stock or I'd have bought one for mum.All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Thanks ok, just bought the bumblebee thing for a garden obsessed aunt's birthday and as well as being half price it took another fiver off for some promotion, I'm not complaining so delivered to store for under a fiver in total!
Super thanks,

Oh sorry, I should have made that clear...I have no idea what the promotion was, it was already on my account and just took five pounds off automatically, so I wasn't complaining!!!! I did try it again a second time but was a no go so think this must have just been something on my account but not sure why.
Sorry,
