I was declared bankrupt in june 2005 i was then discharged in dec 2005. our house was in negative equity at the time our mortgage was 252,000 so we were allowed to stay in the house but my share was transfered to the official receiver, in 2008 they asked for the house to be valued and it valued at 50,000 more than the mortgage, the official receiver wanted us to pay £10,000 for me to buy my share back but we did not have this money available and we were forced to sell but as we knew the house would not sell at the value it had been valued and we ended up moving out they repossessed and then sold it 18mths later for 216,000.00 leaving us a shortfall of 66,000.00 which is included in my bankruptcy but cheltenham and gloucester have filed it on my credit report as unsatisifed and when talking to them they will give me a letter saying it is included but will not mark statisfied on my credit report so for the last 6 years I have built myself up on file but now this has put me back to square one c&g say they are within there rights to not to mark as satisified even though it was included in the bankruptcy this is now causing no end of problems with my bank and has put me in a worse position than the bankruptcy can you help me at all.
