Cheap Household Products

Hey guys.

Lately I have been searching the internet for cheap household cleaning supplies like washing machine powder, bleach, TP etc with no luck.
We live in a remote part of scotland with only a Tescos supermarket and no cheap pound shops or bargain shops. So obviously shopping around is not an option. However I am now getting rather fed up:mad: with having to blow alot of our monthly food allowance on cleaning products and was wondering if anybody could suggest any website that they know of.

Any Help Welcome

What cleaning stuff are you buying? I used to buy more items, but now I do most the cleaning, for example floors, windows, loo, bath, tiles and stuff with washing up liquid. There's little need to buy lots of different expensive products. Detergent is detergent really, it all dissolves dirt and allows you to wash it down the drain. Considering we effectively tackle greasy cooking pans and burnt on food with washing up liquid, its not so surprising really that it's good for other things too.

value products like washing machine powder generally do the job pretty well but without any nice smells. Fabric softener is unnecessary, just a luxury. Value bleach however is very thin so probably better to wait until brands or own brands on offer and stock up then. And washing up liquid does most of the rest, as other posters have said. HTH
  • Amazon have started selling cleaning and other grocery stuff and the prices are good, with some being very competitive. If you go on Amazon just have a look in the household or grocery section. Delivery is free too.
