Right well, they first is to book your meal restaurant before you go out there. We wandered round the ones we wanted the day after we arrived (kalypso, ambrosia etc) and they were fully booked. I told the rep to stop telling people they don't need to book. It all worked out in the end because the lady at Kalypso was fantastic and took us to Mythos, which we'd not seen yet. George in Mythos was fabulous - the meal was fantastic, 4 courses for £20 a head, the was was £10 for a caraf of 1ltr, which was bargainous.

Also, we had drinks at Georges Bar 2 on the beach (a different George!) and they were great too, couldn't help us enough!

The only issue we had was the heat - the less you were wearing the hotter you were. Hubby was fine because his skin wasn't exposed to the sun (apart from his head!).

We hired a car for £30 one day on our honeymoon and went down to Prassonisy (sp!?) and that was brilliant - i would recommend hiring a car too, we had a really lovely day travelling about on our own. We went to a village called Sienna that made and sold local honey, it was lush!

Many congratulations Mr and Mrs Twirlypinky! Everything looks lovely and it looks like it was nice and sunny without being too hot! :j
I can't think which restaurant Mythos is - I'll have to check my map!

Very pleased everything went ok for you. They've changed the paperwork procedure again since you jetted off. You now have to post all your apostillised documents direct to the Mayor or to your wedding planners, before you go there. More fun and games!

It looks fantastic Twirly! I love the colour scheme, works really well and the bridesmaid's dress is beautiful, as is yours obviously! :)

The bouquets, corsages and buttonholes are all fabulous, you must be so pleased to see it all come together so well on the day!

I love the photo on the donkey!!!

I'm very pleased indeed. And lucky too really, i'd seen all these things together in my head - and it all came together in real life.

It was actually silly silly hot, there was a while after the ceremony when i wanted to jump in the sea - i couldn't cope with the heat. It was alright if you were covered up - but with your shoulders and arms exposed it was too hot. The boat helped a lot with the breeze luckily!

For those of you getting wed out there - i have some really good maps and copies of my info sheets if anyone is interested - just pm me :D
