Hi,
I'm renting a new flat and nead some cheap but reasonable curtains. Only thing is the lounge has patio doors and windows so is about 5 metres wide and pretty tall. Anyone know the best place to get some good priced curtains like this, as probably won't use them again don't want to pay too much.

Ebay, but postage will be high.
Freecycle & charity shops both good ideas.
Ikea has super cheap curtains & they're often pretty long. If you get neutral ones you can take them with you & use in your next place.
Make some, it's really easy, or ask someone to give you a hand if you're not confident.0 -
Dunelm Mills have a large selection of ready made lined/unlined in store - v cheap. Max standard length 90ins, tab/ring top curtains dont need to be as wide. If not wide enough buy unpatterned/vertical stripe and sew 2 pairs together. Also website http://www.dunelm-mill.com/.0

Got ours from wilkinsons,
90" drop and wide enough
lovely chocolate brown with silver rings on top, think they were only
about £23
you can always use 2 pairs if needed to be wider, but as ours are rings they
look ok if pulled right across and are not that gathered (if you see what I mean !)
I'm trying to be a good moneysaver
but I keep reading the bargains on the grabbit board !:rotfl:
