A new social housing project in Bridport Dorset is to be named "Twitbook Heights" The project is the brainchild of Letchworth super architect Jeremy Williams-Leroy.
Early plans show imaginative and original streets named after internet and social networking sites, here are a few examples of the street names:
Twitter Walk
Facebook Avenue
Youtube Meadows
Tweet Lane
Flickr Close
MySpace Drive
Bebo Bridleway
Google Grange
Vimeo Valley
Wikipedia Way
Mumsnet Mill
Moneysavingexpert Bank
The eco friendly 100% carbon neutral estate will feature a layout similar to a computer mother board with CPU Square as the main centre of the new project and a cinema/multimedia center called Graphics Grange, all the houses will connect to each other and the rest of the world via broadband with the highest possible connection rate, probably fibre optic at this stage but provision will be made in the build for any future advancements in internet connectivity. The small town will be served by a fleet of eco friendly Tukxi's a three wheeled vehicle that originated in Italy.
All of the properties will feature Tweet terminals in every room and owners will be able to "Talk" to their houses even when abroad. We spoke to one prospective owner Barry from Watford: "I think it's fantastic, can you imagine switching the telly and the kettle on from a Tukxi when you are just five minutes from the house! Yes please! Those Tukxi vehicles look like a great idea as well!"
We called Tukxi HQ in Lyme Regis and spoke to the Managing Director "We are over the moon to be considered as the main provider of Eco Friendly transportation on Twitbook Heights, our vehicles will prove very popular with all the very groovy well connected folk of The Heights! Have a look at our website https://www.tukxi.com "
West Dorset District Council have been inundated with enquiries from first time buyers eager to move in and get connected to the housing project of the future, The project is currently undergoing planning consideration.
So there you have it, another Bridport Radio exclusive from our raving reporter Scoop Doggy Style.

that will date sooooooo badly....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0

Is it April the 1st?
Presumably being laid out like a computer motherboard should anything fail after 2-3 years they will find out they can't replace anything as technology will have "moved on"
They will have to dispose of the old town as of WEEE directives, show compliance and build a new one.
Also when built, they will find out certain streets are incompatible with each other which will require owners to pay for an upgrade to see these other streets.
Also cant they see a BUS speed of < 30MPH will cause a bottle neck0 -
I wouldn't mind going to work in a Tukxi, so cute!0
