I would have a go at returning it....they don't need to know what you have put in it....doesn't sound too overloaded (but then I shove tons of stuff in my cheapy bags). Nothing ventured and all that. Only if you aren't making a special trip.
If not have a bash at sewing it. Dental floss is very strong as an alternative to ordinary thread. Can someone lend you a strong needle?0 -
I presume I'm after a heavy/thick but sharp needle? The only big needles I have are darning, so they'll be too blunt.
I can't find the receipt :mad:, so it's going to have to be an attempt at mending (although you'd think I was deliberately trying to ruin this bag - spilled my lunch in it this morning!). Got to swing by the market on my way home tonight anyway, so will see if Mr Haberdashers has the needle & thread I need.
