HI all..
hopefully someone can help me.
I am sending a Christmas Card that only qualifies as a First class large.
Would it send ok with 2 first class stamps?
I have plenty of 1st class stamps but no large.
Is over payment accepted does anyone know?
Help appreciated!

It should go through fine.
The value which you will be putting on the card is 64p (2x 1st class) - the amount required is 44p (1st class large) - I've never seen any problems with overpaying.
Hope this helps.YO!0 -

Hello Loafer
If you have any second class (23p) stamps, it would be cheaper to use 2 x 23p stamps = 46p.............rather than 2 x 32p = 64p.
For a large letter you need 37p for second class or 44p for first class.........as long as the letter weighs no more than 100g.;)

Simply think of first class stamps as being worth 32p and second class worth 23p as in essence that is exactly what they are.0

Just in case anyone has not seen the news today, Royal Mail are to put up postage again in April, 34p 1st class and 24p second. If I remember correctly, the stamps with 1st or 2nd instead of price are worth current 1st or 2nd class prices, whenever that may be. Anyone who uses a lot of stamps may want to start saving them up already0
