Hello all - Hope you all had a lovely Christmas :snow_grin
I got some money from family and need to buy some text books for uni next term. I looked on PB and the cheapest by far is a company called pickabook.com. Has anyone used these before? I can't find any impartial reviews on the net about them. Many thanks.0 -
Hi all,
I was just hoping to get a few doubts clarifed-
1.I want to shop at John lewis but its not on the shop and earn page but in the search box when i type something in.The problem is I want to buy 2 or more items-would that still track if I went through the shopping page and added more items to the basket?
Also-if the No cashback if gift certificate/voucher used rule apply to John lewis as its sometimes said with CDWow?
2.I have not done the audible trial yet,as I dont have any of the ipod/other gadgets etc.But the 500 points is so tempting. Can I just sign up,give credit card details and not download anything?Or can I just download it to PC and they need not know if I dont have ipod etc?Sorry Iam not sounding very clear, but all these gadgety things are too techy for me.
If it can be done without any ipod etc,is it just one trial per household or can my OH also sign up using a different credit card?
Sorry for the loads of questions, thanks in advance for the answers.
HAPPY Holidays everyone!!0 -

You don't have to have an ipod (or other mp3 player) to listen to podcasts or audio books. If you have a PC and speakers or headphones, you're good to go.
Sorry, can't help with the other queries.0 -

email customer services and tell them you don't have a mobile, and they will help you with an alternative routeHow sweet it is to do nothing..... and then rest afterwards.0 -

Just to clarify.....are you offering an incentive in the form of vouchers to pursuade someone to help you out with the mobile validation? Won't this somewhat negate the value of what you are wishing to do, i.e. redeem points for vouchers...???
This isn't the first time someone has requested help with mobile validation and for the most part the people doing this tend to live or work abroad and so don't have access to the UK mobile phone network.
However, I agree with what the previous poster said. Pigsback are quite happy to accommodate genuine users without a mobile phone. They may be less happy about a user who is residing abroad however, as Pigsback is mainly intended for UK and Irish users. At least that was always my understanding, anyway.........???0
