I know Jules normally does Skegness so you could PM her for some info i am sure she would be more than willing to help....

Feel free to pm me with any questions. I went to Skegness at very busy times for the firework weekend and again on 27th December. I didn't go through pigsback as Butlins weren't a partner when I booked but the leisure vouchers from pigsback paid for all of the first break and a majority of the second break.

We have been to Skegness a few times
    its really good

Not so fussed on Minehead though
and the Bogner one is also very good

I would go back to Skegness & Bogner
    camps without hesitation,but not Minehead.

Dnt forget if you have a touring caravan
they have a touring site on Skegness
as well as the self catering and half board.

We are going to book for the touring site
    at Skegness via pigsback.

 why would you do that ? surely out of all the rewards there is something you want / would use ? / give as a gift ?

personally we get the leisure vouchers ,(or arcadia ones nearer to xmas as gifts :) )

Cos that way i can turn them into hard cash, otherwise i'd be going round Boots looking at stuff to buy around the 9.99 mark that i don't really want and probably wouldn't have otherwise bought.

I know this is a little off topic but I wondered if anyone could offer any advice on Butlins-now they are linked with Pigsback-see what I did there !!;)
I remember some piggies saying they went thru Pigsback earlier last year and wondered
How easy/successful the booking is thru Pigsback
What points if any they got and if they were added ok
Which Butlin sites they would recommend and
If there is a preferable time of year to go i.e not in the school holidays ??

    Thanks very much in advance

    p.s have 2 boys aged 6+4

To get the points you have to copy the confirmation email you get from Butlins, in to the Butlins receipt box on pigsback, and they credit you with 500 points

But i didnt get mine, so emailed them and they added them manually :)

We stayed at minehead in April 2005 ( got a fab cheap deal £74 for a week for 4 of us!) but are going to Bognor this year, staying in the Shoreline Hotel.

there are a few ongoing Butlins threads at the moment :http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=341654&highlight=butlins

turn your boots voucher into a boots giftcard and then you can spend it as much or as little as you want .. with the giftcard what you dont spend stays on the card for another shopping trip.. been there done that so to speak loads of times
