Not been paid again!! Aaggh...

Hi all,
I recently started a new job, and seeing as Lloyds were about to start charging me interest on my current account, I decided it was time to switch evrything over to my new A+L account (well...i only have 1 direct debit)...and pay off the lloyds overdraft. Not knowing my new account details (annoyingly they're not written on the debit card) my first payment was by cheque.....
Then i made a big mistake in giving them my account number and sort code...i got one of the numbers wrong in my sort code....
When payday came (December 7th) and i didnt get paid (it was sent back to the company due to my mistake) i went to see the payroll dept and gave my correct sort code.
They keep promising me the money will be transferred but i am still waiting
I've been told it will go in tuesday....NO.....thursday.....NO....on Friday they told me monday (today)....NO.....

I just don't know what to do now...i'm sick of going to see them and asking what's going on.......to be told lies!
Yes it was my mistake to begin with but that doesn't explain why i still haven't got my money...it's been 11 days so far. Next payday is this thursday. I'm beginning to worry i'm not going to get anything then either
Sorry, just needed a rant!

I work in payroll, and if that happens to an employee We pay we have to wait for it to come back into our bank acc before we send a cheque to them, depending what bank it is they may put it in a holding account. We've had money back the next week but some times its a couple of months.
  • thanks,
the thing is, the money was sentback to them on the 8th!!!
