I don't know if she's written more than one Aga book but I borrowed one from the library a while back (I don't have an Aga but I can look at the book, can't I?
)
I tried a great recipe for a light fruit cake that was made with mincemeat, I thought that I'd written it down but I can't find it anywhere, can anyone find it and write it up please? I don't need the method, just the quantities - thanks gang

Would that be the Dundee Mincemeat cake????
If so it's....
5oz Soft Marg
5oz Light Muscovado Sugar
2 Eggs
8oz Self Raising flour
8oz Mincemeat
4oz Currants
4oz Sultanas
and 2oz blanched split almonds to put on the top.

Not so easy to help I'm afraid....it's an all in one (apart from the nuts) recipe...but the cooking instructions are for an aga....so 1 1/2 hours in the special cake baker tin for the aga....I'd give it a go at about gas mark 3 or 4 cankd keep an eye on it so it doesn't burn the nuts
probably about an hour - hour and a half.
