Daft question of the day.........
Has the dtd stopped as some threads seem to still mention it?
Was at Tescos the other day and on the trolleys were a advertisement for the crinkle crisps at £1. The kids wanted some so I got 4 packets. When I checked my receipt (as I always do) they had gone through at £1.59 each.
I went to customer services and she refunded the extra I had been charged. Could I have asked for dtd as the advertisement was on my trolley but not a SEL?

I would have tried at CS for DTD as it was still advertised in store
Go back and complain or email them and see what happens
