Hi folks, I'm a newbie poster on this thread, so please be gentle:rolleyes:
I have been reading this thread on and off for several months now and it's amazing how many good deals that people seem to get. My local is the Blackpool store, but don't frequent it often as it's not convenient to get to. Whenever I have planned a trip there, I always check out this thread first to see what's going on. I have yet to find anything mispriced, I don't know if I'm doing something wrong, or the store is just on the ball with their pricing. The last time I went in was when everyone was getting the Pixel Chix and the cranium games. I had gone down that day and wrote a list of what people had found, thinking that I had to at least come away with one thing......no such luck. Everything I picked up was the same price scanned as the shelf price. I didn't want to look obvious by keep self scanning, so I gave it up as a bad job:confused:
So, what I need to know, is if anyone has any handy tips, as I'm planning another trip this week, it would be nice to get a pre-Christmas present for myself:o

You've picked a bad night hun. Keep up to date with the current misprices, don't price check too much in case you're noticed. Come back and ask more questions when all the fuss has died down. There are some great posters who will give you tips. Have you read the dudes post on page 1 of this thread it has lots of good info.
    Best of luck.
  • OLE thanks for your explanation much appreciated but tbh i will decline your offer to post in the forum along with posting in here.

This is far too much hassle for a chat forum for a few r&r's

Thanks everyone i will go it alone from now on.

    Wish everyone success.

  • OK well at least we have shown that we can ALL be civil about it!

Well I do hope you change your mind in the near future, it'll be tough going it alone. But I figure you mean you'll keep checking back here, but just won't contrbute to posts yourself. Fair do's.

Good luck and Merry Christmas mate.

  • I was not belittling anyone>?

Its a little light humour, something this thread has been lacking recently?

Maybe I will stop posting if it pleases people??

I thought the only postmen who have stopped posting were in Stoke on Trent? lol

Anyone know if the current x box package scans correct? Even that was better than this bickering.
If you are talking about the WWF bundle, then I imagine it does scan at the SEL.

However the bigger question is with the current offer of 20 quid off when you buy a 360 console and game, is the 299.xx price for the bundle correct considering that the game is just 24.xx on it's own...

It may take alot of persuasion to get this one.

Oh, I dream of having a friend who's a cs at Tesco, imagine being able to go to the desk with your misprice knowing you weren't going to get hassle.

    Tesco will not change R&R-

First - they can't, by and large, get their Price Integrity together.

Second - Everytime they display wrong, double or misleading SELs POS or stickers they are breaking the law.

Third - Each infringment = risk of a heavy fine.

Fourth - R&R = get out of jail free for Tesco.

Iv just been reading the various posts on the 'change of policy' debate - So IF it gets changed why would Tesco be different from any other retailer from personal exprience of working for JS and friends who work at various retail companies many have just as many mis-prices as Tesco yet TS seems unbothered by those as im sure they'll be with Tesco ones, Also 'Double the difference' also comes into line with what most other retailers offer - Im personally SO looking forward to giving a customera 50p 'double the diffrence' refund;)

Well if it does change you'll get plenty of practise doing it considering how poor you are at pricing.
