Anywaaay.... delivery arrived, for once in my life...actually got the free jug! Whoops ,overstocked on the milk tho....better order some rice for pudding! Thanks for all tips-got most of those! Free delivery offer came to less than the fifty quoted due to no subs- however they discounted it anyway! (Maybe it always means pre-delivery order must be less than fifty?)

Well I had no milk or jug - unavailable from my area.
Teabags were the £1 and not 7p.
However did get all the baby stuff cheaply - lotion has nice smell too. Also the jars of tomato sauce for 60p - so not all lost.

Anyone else had problems with the bagged milk? I got a delivery of one this week and put it in a plastic milk bottle (newly used and washed out). On the second day I noticed it looked very frothy as though it had been shaken (it hadn't) and seemed thicker. It didn't smell off but tasted abit different so I binned the cereals.
The next day it had gone all lumpy. Don't know if it was a bad batch, the weather or the fact it is bagged but it has put me off them.
It had been stored in the fridge correctly, so don't know why it happened?

I do the same thing and only try and place reduced / ridiculously low priced items in basket and love the fact that we can still get things like the Homepride chilli for 10p and the trattoria pasta sauce for 20p ( probably ended now though? )
