Would these be of any use to someone with layered clavicle/collarbone length hair?

I think circlets should be brought back into fashion. Sooo pretty and feminine, if not a little elven!

I'd also be interested if these work with layered hair, although I'm guessing not :( Fab find though!

I got some of the little ones from eBay and found it only took 2 of them to put up my shoulder length hair.

One of my daughters has a layered bob and used 9 in her hair to produce a lovely, choppy updo. Very on trend! She did lose one pin during the school day, though.

Another daughter has waist length hair and needed 8 to secure a lovely, neat bun.

So I'm rather impressed with them - I've ordered more from the same seller so that we can all have our hair up at the same time. I still think I'd like to try the bigger ones so might have a look next time I'm in a big Boots. But I was horrified to see that some online sellers are charging £47 for a pack of 6 of the Goody ones!!

Thanks for that FagAshLil! I'd be interested to know exactly how you did your daughter's layered bob choppy updo ;) I am rather limited in my technical abilities with hair!

She put it into a ponytail - a bit stumpy but enough - and then twisted the hair round into a circle and twisted the pins in towards the centre at 12 o'clock (i.e if the circle was a clock face), then 6 o'clock, then 3 then 9. Then she put additional pins in to secure any big straggly bits - it's impossible to get it totally neat and smooth at the moment as her hair is just not long enough, but it gained approval from the cool kids at school so it must look good! :)

Hi found some of these on ebay 10 for £1.16 with FREE P&P from HK, but things usually don't take long when ordered from there. (I have not used this seller previously, but past experience with other HK based sellers. )

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=310313634229&fromMakeTrack=true&ssPageName=VIP:watchlink:top:en

Going to order some for myself :D

Also watch the youtube vids for ideas, found some good ones on there. But never thought to post the links, sorry :o

    Hope this helps ya.

Welll they've arrived this morning. So took 10/11 for delivery. Each on is individually wrapped(so would be great for party bags!!) and they are about an inch and a half long, so generally on the small side, but can't wait to test.
