Be Careful with Sainsburys Special Offers

In the last few weeks I've had 4 online orders where special offers on the website didn't appear on the receipt. The latest was an offer of 2 x £16 Persil Liquid for £20, which disappeared after checking out.

When I queried a similar situation a few months ago the customer service folk said the website should only show offers relevant to the delivery date, now they've said check the offer end date on each offer before checking out.

Given the frequency of these problems maybe Sainsburys have resorted to a new way of boosting their profits.

I dont think its like that at all, you just check when the offers end

Mr T tell me when I check out whether I have missed an offer (i.e. not bought enough to qualify) and I get the same message each time I change/add to my order. When I have picked something that is on offer but the offer ends before my delivery date, I get a message about that too.

I am keen to try Mr S but will not be doing so until I can get a £10 off first shop although I think Mr S is more expensive than Mr T so think I will be sticking with Mr T !
