How to get rid of a spot quickly?

I have one on the bridge of my nose and wearing my glasses isn't helping it.

I have contact lenses so am currently wearing them, but at 6 months pregnant they don't seem to be sitting right (apparently this is normal)

Is there anything I can do to make the spot go away quicker?

TMI below, miss off if you'd prefer :

I normally give spots a squeeze but this would leave an 'open wound' (for want of a better phrase) on my nose so I'm not convinced it would be a good idea in this instance.

TCP or methylated spirits. Even perfume (the alcohol dries it up).

I use quinoderm cream on mine, you can buy it in the chemist, it is really good.

    Sudocrem works best for me.

Freederm gel - dries it up and kills the bacteria.

I find lavender oil works well, smells a bit better than tea tree oil, although I do swear by tea tree for other things.

I also use lavender essential oil on spots. It has anti-microbial and anti inflammatory properties. I use tea tree if I've ran out of lavender, or toothpaste overnight if I want to draw a spot out so I can squeeze it (I'm weird I know, but I love squeezing spots!)
