Got an XBOX - What else do I need ?

Hello, need some advice please !
I got the XBOX Argos offer, some games from Woolies (thanks to this forum) but don't know if I need a memory card?
Does anyone know? Is there anything else I should buy for it?

Is it the original XBox? The black one? If so you don't need anything.

It should have one controller with it, you just plug the xbox into the wall, plug the scart into the beck of the telly and plug the contoller into the front of the xbox. Put a game in and find which channel it's tuned to and off you go.

Thanks. I have had a go on it, so know it works. We have had Playstations before, and they need a memory card, so do we need an XBox memory card, or do they save on the game console?
Does anyone please know?

You don't need a memory card. You can save your progress on your games on the machines hard drive. Trust me you'll never fill that with saves

You'll only need a memory card if you want to take a saved game round to a friends house to play. Otherwise, as was said, the hard drive is big enough for everything. You can copy your favorite cds on to it have the music of your choice while you play.
