In today's Sunday Express there was a special reader offer for a FREE Mars ice cream, redeemable at any Londis or Budgens store.

Consequently, I took my Sunday Express vouchre to my local Londis store, based here in Ipswich's town centre, in order to claim my free Mars ice cream.

I was however told by the store's owner that he was refusing to accept any of these coupons from the newspaper in question.

I would like to know if he is legally entitled to do this?

Furthermore, can I also make a formal complaint to the Advertising Standards Authority about the grossly misleading advert / offer that the Sunday Express were prominently featuring in their newspaper today?
