Paid Application fee on Mortgage now Gazumped!

Hey all,

Just seeing if you think I have any chance of getting my application fee from the Skipton back!

I been approved for a Mortgage and paid application fee over the phone yesterday then today the estate agent told me someone had offered more and this had been accepted!

Am annoyed but seeing if anyone had any experience of this and getting money back.

Cheersx

I would find somewhere else if possible and use the same deal... could be worse and be further down the line I guess- when you have spent a lot more on searches etc

I know! I was telling myself not to get excited but as you do was planning rooms in my head then only a week after offer accepted then suddenly a higher offer comes up after being on for over 6 months.

Ahh you never know I might find somewhere better!

    Thanks for thatx

Have you used the estate agent's broker? Because if you have, I would be a little suspicious that they are playing you.
