Rose Garland decoration

We are having a marquee for the afternoon of our reception and I have some bunting to decorate it but I'd also like to get some rose garlands to decorate the 2 big poles that go through the middle of the marquee.
I've looked on eBay but most of the ones I found were 6ft which would be too short (prob need about 12ft for each pole, so could get 2 6ft ones for each if I needed to) and they work out about £8-£10 each so I'd be looking at about £40 for them which doesn't seem very MSE for just a bit of decoration.
Does anyone know of anywhere I might be able to get some cheaper or a pretty alternative?
Thanks

We used (brand was sia) petal garlands off ebay to decorate a painted steel poles in our hall. I found a job lot 24 individual about 2 meters each but easily twisted to join them together. We also used them on tables and around cake. Seeing how they were made with thin wire and 2 petals stuck together you could have a go at making some?0

You could always make your own with a job lot of fake roses. Alternatively to keep costs down how about winding some organza around the pole and adding a few fake roses at intervals?0

could you get more and tie them together with floresrty wire and tape then wide ribbon around in the opposite direction to the roses to cover the join:kisses3: Married 29th September 20120
