hannah did you take out ppi on your loan, if so contact the bank and get them to remove it, it could make your payments lower therefore freeing up more money to pay off cc

Hi Hannah

I think the simple answer is the car. Do you *really* need a car for uni? If the uni is miles away and you are stopping at home then fair enough but for a lot of uni students a car is a luxury. Also get rid of the laptop insurance.
Is the loan secured on the car? ie is it a hp agreement?0 -
I agree about the car; I'm a second year student at uni, and I bought a bus ticket for the entire year for £173 and this gets me pretty much everywhere I need to go. Having a car is a luxury if you're going to be a university student, and it seems to me that you can't really afford to have one. If you can't afford it now when you're not at uni, wait until you are as things are much harder then. you dont want to have laon repayments and all that jazz as well as living by yourself with bills and allsorts as well. So I would seriously think about whether you need to keep the car - could you sell it and get the bus instead? That way you dont pay insurance or whatever, and can get that loan paid off asap. think about it
