Linux Magazine Subscription / Computer Shopper Subscription

Hi,

I want to subscribe to a Linux magazine to start getting to grips with Linux. Any recommendations? The only one I can see in the shop is Linux Format which is priced like PC Format than PC Pro or Computer Shopper and therefore is fairly expensive at £6.95 / issue.

Is there a better magazine to subscribe to? If not, what's the best way to get a discount on this magazine?

Also, what's the cheapest way to subscribe to Computer Shopper? Doesn't have to be a DVD edition (going for CD edition currently saves me 1 third in the shops).

To get the linux and computer shopper magazine's I would of thought its best to take out a trial subscrition and then cancel just before the end of the trial and then sgin up for a trial again a month or so later e.g Linux Mag £6 for 3 issues here

but it does look like some people have had problems getting their subscription to computer shopper refunded

Hi All

www.Magsite.co.uk is pretty hot on magazine offers although they don't show the linux offer at the minute. I've done a search on computers and these ones stand out from the rest. I'll suggest to them to add the linux offer (They give out free Sim cards for valid suggestions lol)
