Lloyds TSB unsecured loan PPI

Has anyone actually managed to get their PPI back/ or got it cancelled from Lloyds? I'm going to try and I wanted to know if anyone's had any success?

Hi
If you're talking about loan protection, I managed to cancel mine with LloydsTSB, even though it was just outside the 28 day cool-off period. I was paying over £100 a month loan protection and was able to cancel it over the phone. They said this was because I was a valued customer (been with them for around 17 years, although they don't know yet that I'm about to ditch them for A&L!)
Hope this helps!

Cancelling PPI is not an issue, though with some loan products is does require taking a new loan out.
Refund is only available if you can prove it was missold - simply saying you have now decided you dont want it any more is not reason enough. All posts made are simply my own opinions and are neither professional advice nor the opinions of my employers

Hi
Ive had a loan out with these guys, for a few years now. Only because I was young and foolish and hadnt found this site yet.
Anyway, I tried to cancel my PPI this week, and was told this was not possible and the original loan would have to be cancelled and a new one applied for.
Personally I now wish Id never given my money to them. Lightbulb Moment: December 2006
:T Proud to be dealing with my debts :T0
