Can anyone recommend a good cheap safe site to buy a tapestry kit.My MIL would like one for her birthday but I didnt realise how expensive they are.Thanks

Ehrman's sometimes have nice ones reduced in the sale. The full prices are quite dear but not the most expensive I've seen.

I've not actually bought from their website. They had a shop in Kensington Church Street for years and I bought many items from there.0 -

Hi.
I can recommend www.sewandso.co.uk, a lot of us Cross Stitchers use them as they are good prices and give really good service.
However, have you tried ebay? Lots of people sell new kits that they have changed their minds about (including me) just use BNIP (brand new in packet) or New in the title and most of what comes up should be ok as a gift. Study the description and picture carefully as if someone has already sorted the threads it will be obvious it is not new.
