I have a class of 26 6year olds and it's getting to that time of year when my mind has turned to seeing them off for the summer with a prezzie. Its getting dearer every year and has got to point where I end up spending nearly £2 on each of them just to get something that does not look tacky or like no thought at all has gone into them. I have some leftover cellophane cones from xmas and thought I might use them somehow but would like some inspiration as to what to put in them. Sweets are the easy option but I thought you crafty lot might have some even better ideas than that! Might even go down the boy/girl route.

in poundland they have packs of pencils rubbers pens and little pads etc you could divide things like this up and pop in the bags maybe with a little bag of haribos or such like:xmastree:Is loving life right now,yes I am a soppy fool who believes in the simple things in life :xmastree:0

Cheers for these ideas. I like a good bake so that could be the way forward - and it shouldn't cost me 50 quid!I refuse to have a battle of wits with an unarmed opponent. :rotfl:0

I have come across this free printable -
I usually just buy a pack of fancy pencils and rubbers from wilkos or the pound shop, but the image would make a good bookmark, or maybe - if I can find a cheap batch - a notebook cover.0 -
book marks are a great idea you could then personalise them considering there is a big thing in schools well ares for reading:xmastree:Is loving life right now,yes I am a soppy fool who believes in the simple things in life :xmastree:0

If you haven't time to make anything what about these bookmarks?
I've bought from this place before and always get good service. I started buying from here after I was recommended x0 -
I'm a T.A, in yr 2 class, and for the past 2 years myself & teacher have made each child a keepsake photo. We take a photo of each child with the both of us at the start of summer term, and then we print them off and put them into little cardboard frames that we decoupage between us, using scraps of paper and fabric.
Its a little time consuming, and we have to give up a Sunday to get them all put together, but the best bit ... Works out at under £20 for the class. Hth xIt's not about getting what you want, It's about wanting what you get.0
