Just took my car for MOT

They refused to do it because my car is too dirty! They said it's a 'health hazard' :rotfl:

How dirty is it? I've taken cars covered in dirt, flies, sandwich boxes and other unpleasant clutter for MOT before -- far too lazy to do anything about it -- without issue.
Must have been either seriously unpleasant, or just your MOT bloke was on an off day

If the numberplates are so dirty so as impossible to read without cleaning them, they are within their rights to refuse to do the test. Realistically though, it's much more easy for the tester simply to clean the plates off. For it to be deemed a health risk it must have been seriously dirty!0
