How long to update land registry

Purchased property. Completed on Friday, pretty straight forward purchase.

Just order a title register on land registry site for 4 pound for own records and for confirmation solicitors/lender has done everything etc.

The title register still shows old owner and no mention of me, or my lender Halifax, how long does it to update title register at Land Registry

This actually depends on the council and when your conveyancer submitted the land registry forms. It will also rely on your lender surprisingly. It can take as much as 3 months from the date you changed monies and contract.

Okay, the guy I purchased it off was in all kinds of debt trouble, I was tenant prior and usual red letters and occasional visits by call agents (most I would ignore). Presumably though now legally it is in my name or rather my lender's name so they can't charge the property or continue to harass the property? In addition I can freely answer the door and say hey 'get lost' I live here, I could give the forwarding address but as these arent nice people so nah..
