How to get scan gel off my clothes?

Options
Ive had to return to hospital after giving birth for another tummy scan. The lady was very 'gel happy' and it went everywhere over my new trousers. I washed them normally and then again using vanish but it wont shift. Does anyone please have any ideas to remove it? Many Thanks
Mad Mum to 3 wonderful children, 2 foster kittens and 2 big fat cats that never made it to a new home!

My best advice for any greasy type of stain is to cover in washing up liquid and put it through the wash again.....it seems to get most things out :o
As my dad always used to say 'Just because you've got the money doesn't mean to say you have to spend it all at once'

i've always found vanish works a treat. but i use the stick of it and rub it on the stain directly, rather than the gel vanish.

    congrats on pregnancy also.

Washing up liquid is good as already mentioned, sometimes putting Brown paper or kitchen towel on top of the stain, then putting the iron on it can lift the greasy stuff.
