They were always on the shelf at £5, it was the fact that it reduced the purchase twice at the till that was the glitch.

    2 x £4.56 = £9.12

    2 for £5 - deduct £4.12
    2 for £7 deduct £2.12

    £9.12 - £4.12 - £2.12 = £2.88 for 8 = 36p a bottle

the fact the till showed 2 for £7 means it maybe over, but I guess depends what type of store Steve1500 went to as it wasn't working at the Local (?) stores.

Well if it's over it was great for the two days it lasted. Also I was always under the impression that S's had some super duper computer system that meant they could rectify any problems straightaway, unlike Mr T's who usually have to wait til midnight if their's a glitch. They were definately aware of this on the first day and then refused to sell some in some stores yesterday until their computers system had updated last night.
    Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:
  • Anybody tried this in Peterborough please.

Just been to my local store - bought 2 cases went through self service & it asked me for £7.00 so had to complain to get it reduced to £5.00

I don't think that it was working in Sanisburys Local stores - only normal size ones

Even at £5 when they're £4 something per pack is still pretty good.

May give it another go after work anyway - doubt it'll work with the glitch, but still.
