Won and amazing comp but dont think i can go :-(

I received a WEM on Monday saying i had won flights to Australia and tickets to a festival (kanye west and coldplay are there) I was over the moon but then read that the festival is next month also its held 2 hours away from where you land. The thing is im self employed as a child minder and cant let the mum's down.
Another thing is their is not accommodation etc and the money to rent a car/ travel to festival is gunna cost a bomb, which im a bit skint atm. I have tried to get in touch and ask them if i can just have the flights to take a holiday later on in the year when i may have more money but im not getting any response as they are based in Australia. In the terms and conditions it says i need to let them know by this friday! I just hope they get back to me soon.

I hope they get back to you soon as well and good luck with getting them to change the prize. If I was the competition runner I would but I know they can be strict sometimes!

There's some info about transport here. It might not be too expensive to get a bus or train from the aiport. It's a camping festival too so wouldn't need to pay for accommodation.

Hope you can work something out, either for the festival or for another date.

Well done , I remember this comp I entered for my son. I am sure its a camping festival so you need to take a light weight tent and sleeping bags and that sorts your accomodation. You only need to budget for food and transport and Coaches in Oz are very good value. Hope you get it sorted.

Hi just to let you all know i wasn't allowed to take just the flights at a later date so ive let it go. I just hope they pass it on to someone else who can go. I feel a bit guilty as i didn't read it through when i entered it. I will read the terms and conditions properly from now on.:o
