On sale in many places now for £19.99 to £29.99!!
TKMaxx have them RED STICKERED at £12.00!
They DO cook pasta to perfection, but they are only WORTH £25!
Great gift for someone you don't really like!
(or for someone who likes gadgets!!!)

Cooks perfectly for us.
Don't know how it can possibly do otherwise - you set it for the time shown on the packet or any other period you might want and it adds about 30 seconds to a minute anyway!British Ex-pat in British Columbia!0 -
I'll give ya'll an automatic pasta cooker for free. Put the pasta in the pan, add a little olive oil, (stops it all sticking together), add some boiling water, stir, put the lid on and leave it without heat for approx 15 mins.0

lol, "automatic" pasta cooker.
Worst.invention.ever!
Still, thanks for posting it : it may come in useful for someone - the review does mention it would be good for the frail/anyone unable to carry boiling water. I might get one and have an army of small children cooking pasta for me. =]ॐ Signature Removed by Someones Mum. ॐ0 -
The product development people at DeLonghi are probably scratching their heads wondering why deep fat fryers are so popular....
What's wrong with a pan full of oil?
This gadget is well worth the £12 - besides, most pans cost more than that!
For convenience value, you can actually set it to cook your tea, as it warms the sauce and can be set to cook at a preset time.
I'm sure it will soon be at the back of the cupboard with the smoothie maker, the George Foreman grill, the sandwich toaster, the juicer, the popcorn maker, the electric wok etc etcBritish Ex-pat in British Columbia!0 -

:rotfl: :rotfl: That's exactly where my Foreman grill is - it hasn't been used for ages and was only used about 6/8 times - dries the meat out like you wouldn't believe.Hate and I do mean Hate my apple Mac Computer - wish I'd never bought the thing
Do little and often
Please stop using the word "of" when you actually mean "have" - it's damned annoying :mad:0
