There are 4 of these in The City of London so a free pub crawl could easily be arranged - start at Houndsditch, then on to London Wall. Drop down to Cannon Street and end up at Blackfriars.

There are a couple of pubs in the West End where the vouchers are valid too so you could bat on if you wanted to (I've got young kids at home so can't come on with you sadly).
  • Hi - a runtime error occurs when I try to get the link in both mozilla and IE

anyone got a screenshot of the voucher?

    Thanks

If you're fans of Guinness there's a chance to win a cheque for 4 cans of Guinness if you help me win today's tins for tat competition on the Guinness site. Here's the link to find out about it http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=332065

  • On our way to the theatre today in the West End / Central London, we dropped into O'Neill's to give this a go.

The first O'Neill's didn't want to honor the voucher at all, and came up with the excuse that they wouldn't offer the deal after 7 PM (and this was at 6:40 PM!). After pointing out to her that we still had 20 minutes to participate in the offer, the bartender finally admited that they just didn't want to honor the vouchers at all - and said that we should try another O'Neill's.

The second O'Neill's critisized the vouchers, and then reluctantly gave us our pints (and reminded us that we could ONLY have 1 each). Made me feel like a child.

The pint was nice, but I really didn't enjoy the customer service!

    Anyone else have problems?

  • It's probably got out of hand and ONeills are backtracking... looks like the voucher has been pulled from the website when I just checked.
  • Used my voucher last night, no problem (although I thought I'd get in there quickly in case Guinness / O'Neill's get fed up and stop honouring them). A great freebie, thanks jaspalc.

  • Nice one Mart. I don't drink the stuff myself, but I passed on the good news to the rest of the guys at our Christmas party in Cardiff last night. They accepted all of the vouchers and when we ran out, we sent over to our 24hr shift team to print off some more....Someone 'done the run' to grab them and the drinking continued....

    Cheers
    and many thanks indeed.....
