Is there a Jack Daniels Rip off...?

Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I was just wondering if there's a cheaper copy of Jack Daniels at all? You can buy cheap Vodka, Copy Pimms, Baileys and Archers, but what about JD? Is there anything similar at all, that doesn't cost an arm and a leg...?
Grateful if anyone knows!

Most supermarkets sell own label bourbon for around £11 a bottle. If you drink JD with mixers then the taste is close enough even though JD isn't strictly a bourbon.

My ex loves Jack Daniels, if he fancied a tipple and couldn't afford JD he would buy Lidl's version so that is maybe worth a try. HTH

Yeah, I was also going to say the same as Kay, or try Aldi as well.

I've bought both Lidl's and Aldi's malt whiskey in the passed and can't fault either, their regular whiskey is fairly good as well. Fairly good prices too.

Agree with Kay - Lidls one is the way forwardand you won't really notice much difference with a mixer

Netto had Jim Beam 70cl a few weeks ago for £12.99.

Incidently, Sainsbury's are selling Jack Daniel's 500ml bottles for £10.61 reduced from £15.92 until 28/06/2011.

Ok, so I'll hive Lidl's Bourbon a go, but otherwise the Sainsbury's half litre offer sounds good! Any idea how much (roughly) the bourbon is in Lidl at all?

Think it was £11 or £12 when I bought it, it is nice, especially in coffee.

Tesco are now selling Jack Daniels 1 Litre bottles for £20. Might want to stock up while it's this price.

I find Jim Beam tastes nothing like Jack Daniels, I keep telling bar staff this when they offer me JB as an alternative? Is it just me ..... ?
