Good luck. I asked ESA and GFK for £2 extra when they asked me to do an urgent visit and both said no. How can some people ask for double or triple and get it, and I can't even get £2!

I didn't get very far with GFK either when they called me last week. I see the jobs are still sat there unclaimed though!

It would be better is they said what hey could offer, rather than asking us how much extra we want, then declining.

Totally agree with you pet. Even the GAP bribes sound appealing compared to the lame 25p extra offers from ESA.

Mind you, I think there are too many shoppers in West Yorkshire. I very rarely get offered urgent ones.

I'm gald that you're happy. The trouble is that six times not very much only really equals an acceptable fee for an urgent job. Did the enhanced fee cover your mileage and travelling time as well as the job time? RE and ESA, in particular, seem very reluctant to factor these in nowadays.

I'll be within 10 miles of there anyway, I wouldn't have done it otherwise. I agree though that the added fee doesn't take into account the 2 hours travelling

Mmmmm did a lovely shop yesterday and was able to buy some lush chocolate and toffee cheesecake. I like jobs where you visit shops you never knew existed and find that they're really good!

I've managed to get extra from GFK on a few occasions although it is like pulling teeth but if they want someone to go to Oban they will have to pay.

ESA have to be the worst. The request for me to do eggs in Dunoon was the best. An extra £1.50 was added to the fee after they had originally refused to add anything and then realised that a trip to Dunoon requires a jaunt on a boat or a ridiculous drive. Needless to say I declined their offer!

Does anyone have the answer to the following questions please?

Has anyone been paid by Bare yet this month for May assignments?

Have ESA dropped their "backup shopper" system? I sure hope so!

How do you add extra clients to Abai?

(just kidding on the last one ;))

BARE not paid for May assignments, I was expecting the payment for 6 x jewellery and 3 x coffee, but nothing came! TNS not paid for their phone visits this month if you did any which is a bummer as it was a big fee!

ESA backup shopper system seemed like a scam to me in the first place. They all got picked up and then they all got dropped x 3 before they eventually got done.

i think they have dropped it as not seen it for ages. i picked up a shop i originally did not take when it first appeared and after it first went i didmt see it.

sure they said it was a trial, just as well as it was useless! seems to work fine on abai so they should just improve it!

You picked an interesting time weatherwise, today we had brilliant sunshine, thunder, awful heat, lighting strikes, torrential rain and now mist. It feels like the weatherman dropped all his pictures at once!
