Mysterious Girl, did you contact them prior to sending the items back? Under distance selling you must inform them in writing prior to return. However I would contact them and point out the distance selling and see what they say. I am awaiting a refund for two items from a "competitor" and I have heard nothing yet.

Agreed. You have 7 days in which to confirm to the company that you 'cancel' the contract (how they trace that exactly I don't know). Do they have a telephone number? Give them a call, explain the situation and if they are of no help write to them recorded delivery stating your ground and informing them you will be telling trading standards they are acting illegally.

Lol I have just had the same. Answering machines are a wonderful thing, especially when you know it is ESA

I'm not doing any mystery shopping this month because of fasting, apart from email & telephone jobs. If I was I'd have great difficulty completing my visits as I go all over London especially the West End.

I just hope it gets better quick because it really makes you scared of going out in the evening. We had some looting in our town centre last night but it wasn't as bad as other areas.
