o2 Simplicity one month contract works out free!

Not sure if I'm reading this correctly but TCB are currently offering £25.25 cashback on 1 month simplicity contracts. The cheapest basic package starts at £10.50. As you're only tied in for one month you can't really go wrong! Correct me if I'm wrong though

I did a dummy application - things to note:

-It seems as if you have to give 30 days notice to cancel so you would have to do so straight away to get the max cashback. But the T&Cs state if you cancel within 14 days then it's the "cooling off" period and you will be refunded but liable for the cost of any calls or texts you have made/sent

-You have to agree to a credit check, so those who have done a few lately might not want another on their file

-As usual you're totally reliant on the cashback coming through (not necessarily guaranteed) in order to profit.

In the end I didn't go through with it. But it's a good opportunity for those who go in for a lot of standard-rate SMS competitions as you get 500 "free" texts per month.
