How sweet of them - obviously 99.999% of us have the wrong opinion of the Nice people at MBNA.  :rolleyes:I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

Hi ya, just wanted to add that MBNA did initially make the most phone calls and refused our DMP offer through payplan and threatened to sell the debt! We then sent them a letter explaining that the amount offered was all that could realisticaly be afforded and that would they reconsider our offer but would understand that if not the debt would be passed on to a third party fr collection!! Within a few days they had sent a letter back agreeing to our initial offer and a reduced payment for a period of 12 months with interest and charges frozen and after three payments on time they have also moved the arrears from my husbands account....
