Thank you :D

Well, it's a little after midnight and I just checked the insolvency register as I'm marked as "discharged" :D

As I was promised at the time, the year has gone by surprisingly quickly. The hardest part by far was the emotional part: the uncertainty, the worrying, the waiting, the feeling of being trapped, punished, not in control, of being a second-class citizen, of wondering what my friends really thought.

I couldn't have got through it without this website and the terrific people who contribute to it, I really couldn't. It's been my "safe place" -- a refuge, a place where I've felt I'm among friends, people who really "get it".

So thank you everyone for making this such a supportive community. I really do appreciate it :D

That brings me hope because I to am stressing about being BR and having the OR 'hovering' over me, although I know he isn't really.

Congratulations on your AD, this is the start of a new life for you.

It's a horrible feeling, isn't it. It was made even worse when the IPA rules were changed. I didn't have an IPA initially -- my agreed surplus was only £12 -- but I was very worried I might be reassessed, even though I'd probably still have been under the £20 limit.

I wasn't reassessed -- after my initial telephone interview I never heard from my OR again.
